It’s been a busy few months here at the studio, and I’d like to let you know about some exciting news, specifically:
* New group workshops that I’m running for both beginner and improver photographers.
* A new TV programme featuring my work that will be airing on TG4 later this month.
** Workshops **
I’m delighted to tell you that I’ve just scheduled four more group workshops in October and November.
The weekends of October 18th/19th (beginners) and November 8th/9th (improvers).
The weekends of October 25th/26th (beginners) and November 15th/16th (improvers).
Places are limited to six students on each workshop, and they are already filling up – so if you’re interested, don’t delay!
You can find more details of the workshops at http://www.petercox.ie/group_workshops.php.
Here’s what one of my students on a recent workshop had to say:
“Thanks for a great workshop. I got a really good grounding that will enable me to use the camera to greater effect and to develop my skills. You’re a good teacher and your enthusiasm and passion for photography is matched by your competence and ease with the technology.” — Mary Rafferty, Dublin
** TV Programme **
We recently finished work on a 6-part TV programme for TG4 called ‘I bhFocas’ (In Focus, in English). It starts airing on the 25th of September at 8pm.
The programme follows presenter Sean O’Donaile as he meets various celebrities and teaches them about photography while taking pictures in some of the most beautiful parts of the country.
While I’m not seen on camera, I was heavily involved in the photographic side of the production and as technical consultant. It promises to be a great show, so do tune in on the 25th.
That’s it for now. Don’t forget to log into the website (http://www.petercox.ie) and browse the new photographs!
Click on the link below and it will take you into google maps and show you our location.
Can members of the club start sending images to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org so that they put them up on the website. If you can size them to no bigger then 700pixels on the longest side in jpeg format.
