Subject: Judging of the IPF Distinctions in Thurles on Sunday 28th November 2010
The event is an all day event, starting round 10:00am. The event will be held in the Tipperary Institute in Thurles – (http://www.tippinst.ie/). There is no charge for viewing the judging. The IPF encourage people to come along to watch, it’s particularly useful for anyone thinking of going for a distinction
Anyone interested in travelling to see the event please let me know before Monday 8th Nov. We hope to organise a bus if there is enough interest.
Dear Navan Camera Club,
My name is Niamh Cassidy and I’m a 2nd year Event Management student studying in DIT. As part of our course, we must organise an event in aid of charity. My team and I have decided to do a Photography Auction on the 25th of November. It will be held in the church on Cathal Brugha St from 6pm-9pm. On the night there will be the photograph auction where all proceeds go to the Alzehimers Society of Ireland. There will be light entertainment, food and beverages and a raffle on the night.
I was wondering if there was anyone interested in donating a photograph for the auction? The photographs must be in sizes 8R (8″ x 10″) or 10R (10″ x 12″). The deadline to submit a photograph is 9th of November and successful candidates will be contacted by Tuesday 16th of November.
Please e-mail the photograph to firstname.lastname@example.org
This is a great opportunity to network with other photographers and anyone interested in photography. There is a good turnout to be expected and I look forward to hearing from the club and hope everyone is interested in donating a photograph. More information can be found on Facebook under
Thank you very much for your time.
