He also does quite a lot of IR photography which is a fascinating field in it’s own right.  He has a few upcoming events which may interest some of you. If you don’t get to take part in any of his workshops, don’t worry he’ll also be giving us a lecture next year……..

Macro winner

Macro photo of drop of water with word macro in it
Macro in every sense.....

Congrats to Lorraine O’Donovan on winning the overall in this month’s competition themed Macro/Close-up.

Lorraine won the Intermediate Mono print section with this quirky take on the theme. The judge, Barry Cronin also chose this shot as the overall winner on the night.

Well done Andrew

Well folks we had some lovely images entered in our little competition and our winning shot as chosen by the international panel of judges, is the above shot from Andrew Ellis.

It’s a beautiful winter scene, shot near Bective if I’m not mistaken, and shows our local countryside in all it’s glory.

Well done Andrew and thanks to all who participated.
