A bit damp and knee deep in insects and bog, must be a camera club outing.
On the 8th of July NCC took a trip to Oristown Bog with Bernard Hand and the Forest View Gun Dogs. After a bit of instruction (sit, stay) and advice from Bernard and we were off to the dogs. Photographing Springers and Pointers while they run headlong at you through tall grass is a challenge for the autofocus, leaping in and over streams certainly made for an interesting session. They did obediently sit still enough for some posed portraits but finally the light begin to fail and wellies filled with mud so time to head home.
A big thanks to Bernard and forest view gun dogs once again and here are a few examples of members photos.
