I would be very grateful if you could inform your club or society
members about this year’s Irish Met Society photography competition.
Our 2009 competition was extremely successful with the winner, Anthony
Byrne, going on to achieve first place in the European Met Society
Most of our 2009 entries can be found here:
some of these appeared in our Winter and Spring Newsletters. With the
photographers’ permission, we also submitted these photos to An Post
for a possible stamp series and are keeping our fingers crossed!
Weather over the past few months has been very diverse so I am sure we
will receive a lot of great photographs again this year. The
competition rules are below. Please also see our website
http://www.irishmetsociety.org for further details on the competition
and the Irish Met Society.
